Education
I am licensed in both 5-12 Mathematics and K-12 English as a Second Language (ESL). I have a BS in Physics from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire and an MA in Education from Hamline University in St. Paul. I have also done additional graduate level mathematics coursework at the UofM and Moorhead State.
Experience
I have been teaching Math since 1999 and have worked with high school and adult students from diverse backgrounds. I have taught and tutored English, Math, and Science and many other high school subjects. Currently, I teach adult students looking to finish their high school diploma or get their GED and I am on a state planning team to help other adult MN math teachers improve their teaching. I'm available to meet in person or on zoom.
